David Chetham McKee of Aurora passed away on May 19, 2010, and the Illinois Senate expresses its mourning of his death.

McKee graduated from the University of Illinois and served as President and CEO of McKee Industries, Inc., Oberweis Dairy, Inc., and Anker Holdings Division of Furnas Electric Company.

He served as President and CEO of Rush Copley Medical Center from 1990 to 2000 and held numerous board positions with community organizations including the Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Hospital and HealthSystems Association, and the Salvation Army.

McKee is survived by his wife Linda of 43 years, three children (Megan, Mindy, and Matthew), five grandchildren, and two brothers.

The Illinois Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to McKee's family as a symbol of sincere sympathy.
