Delores Yvette "Lois" Hunter of Chicago passed away on June 25, 2010, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to her family and friends.

Born July 12, 1958, she attended Beethoven Elementary School, DuSable Upper Grade Center, and graduated from DuSable High School in 1976; she also attended Harold Washington Community College.

Worked for the Human Resource Development Institute for 13 years and also worked for Heartland Alliance and Management Planning Institute.

Volunteered with the 4H Club and Summer Lunch Program, and participated in recreational sports including softball with "The Crushers" championship women's team and volleyball with family and friends.

Illinois Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Delores Hunter as a symbol of sincere sympathy.
