Gregory Lynn Jones of Waukegan passed away on July 19, 2010, and the Illinois Senate expresses mourning for his death.

Born October 5, 1954, Jones was a 1972 graduate of Waukegan Township High School who worked as an animal warden for the City of Waukegan, at Baxter Laboratories, and at Brown Paper Goods Company.

Jones was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Hattie Jones, his brother Ronald Jones, and other family members.

Jones is survived by his sisters Donna M. Jones, Jennifer D. Jones, and Andra C. Jones, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friend Barbara Lopez.

The Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gregory Jones as a symbol of sympathy.
