Raymond Edward Holloway, Village Clerk of Romeoville, passed away on August 19, 2010.

Served as a United States Marine Corps veteran, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and was a Vietnam War veteran with 2 years of American Legion membership.

Elected Village Clerk of Romeoville in May 2005 and again in May 2009; retired from Valley View U365 School District as Transportation Education Coordinator.

Worked over 30 years in transportation-related careers, from Marine Corps service through 18-wheel semi truck driving, and assisted in conducting bus driver safety workshops and training sessions.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to his family and directs a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Holloway family.
