Senate Resolution mourning Lance Corporal Kevin E. Oratowski of Wheaton, who was killed in combat operations in Afghanistan on August 18, 2010.

Oratowski was a 22+ year Wheaton resident and 2005 graduate of Glenbard South High School who enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on June 23, 2008, serving as a light-armored vehicle crewman.

Illinois Senate honors Oratowski's memory and his willingness to serve his country, recognizing his ultimate sacrifice.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to Oratowski's family as a symbol of sincere sympathy.
