Expresses condolences from the Illinois Senate for the death of Robert J. "Bob" Johnson of Alton, who passed away on August 19, 2010.

Johnson was born December 3, 1935, and owned Johnson's Corner and co-owned Runway Lounge; he was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus (4th degree), Alton Eagles Lodge 254, and served on boards for Reliance Bank, Crisis Food Center, Senior Services Plus, and Foster Grandparents Program.

Johnson is survived by his wife Mary Lou, six children (five daughters and one son), fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his sister Dorothy Kleinschnittger.

Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Johnson's family as a symbol of sincere sympathy.
