Jennifer Preuss of House Springs, Missouri, formerly of Christopher, passed away on August 21, 2010.

Jennifer was born November 9, 1971, in Du Quoin, to Randy and Becky (Spruell) Gilbert and taught at Northwest R-1 School District for 14 years.

She served as computer technician for Cedar Springs Elementary School and was known for her kind heart and passion for education and helping others.

Jennifer was preceded in death by grandparents Joe Gilbert and Charlie Spruell.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to her surviving husband Chris Preuss, two children (Jordyn and CJ), parents, brother Rodney, and extended family.
