Expresses the Illinois Senate's condolences for the death of Raulin "Sonny" Wight Jr., past president and CEO of Wight & Company, who passed away on August 21, 2010.

Recognizes Wight's career accomplishments including his work as president of Wight & Company until the late 1980s and his architectural contributions to Triton Community College and College of DuPage, including the Harold McAninch Fine Arts Center and Physical Education Center.

Notes his education as a 1941 Downers Grove High School graduate and bachelor's degree holder in architecture from the University of Nebraska, and his service as an Army instructor at the end of World War II.

Lists surviving family members including his wife Lois, daughter Jill Ann Breedlove, son Mark, brother George, sisters Nancy Reimers and Jane, and two grandchildren.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Wight's family as a symbol of sincere sympathy.
