Illinois Senate expresses condolences on the death of James Beavers, who passed away on October 5, 2010, at age 73.

Beavers was born September 23, 1937, moved from Cropwell, Alabama to Chicago, and attended Englewood High School and Mechanics College.

Operated a Sinclair Gas Station and founded Busy Beaver Auto Construction, a successful business operating for more than 4 decades.

Married Doris Murphy on December 29, 1957, and raised 4 children; was a Trustee at Mount Carmel Ridge M.B. Church and later rededicated his life at St. Sabina Catholic Church in 1993.

Senate directs that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Beavers family as a recognition of his service to his family and community.
