Darlene Marie Van Ham of North Aurora passed away on October 7, 2010, at age 78.

Born November 30, 1931, in Waukon, Iowa, she was married to Bernie for 44 years and raised six sons.

Worked as a nurse for 52 years at St. Charles Hospital, Copley Hospital, and Dreyer Medical Clinic, and volunteered at Aurora's free clinic after retirement.

Survived by six children, nine grandchildren, and her sister Elaine.

The Illinois Senate expresses its condolences and directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to her family.
