Illinois Senate expresses condolences for the death of Thomas Szostak of Lindenhurst, who passed away on August 25, 2010.

Szostak was born January 26, 1958 in Waukegan and retired as a fireman with the City of Waukegan on August 17, 2010 after 20 years of service.

Szostak was a member of the International Association of Firefighters Local #473.

Szostak is survived by two sons (Joseph and Thomas), parents George and Eva Szostak, four brothers, and numerous other family members and friends.

A suitable copy of the resolution shall be presented to the Szostak family as a symbol of the Senate's sincere sympathy.
