Jeanne L. Garrett died on August 25, 2010; she was born December 17, 1922, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Graduated from West Allis Central High School and attended the University of Wisconsin; served as Secretary to the Dean of Engineering at the University of Maine.

Moved to Deerfield in 1958 and was active in Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Deerfield Women's Club, and Patty Turner Senior Center; was a lifelong bridge player and charitable contributor.

Survived by her husband Roscoe, three children (Scott, Jack, and Paul), three siblings, and five grandchildren; preceded in death by daughter Sally.

Illinois Senate expresses sympathy to the family of Jeanne Garrett and directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to her family.
