Allen Joshua of Waukegan passed away on September 10, 2010 at age 65, having been born August 7, 1945 in Pineville, Louisiana.

Graduated from Peabody High School in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1962, served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea, and moved to the Waukegan area in 1968.

Served as President of the North Chicago Branch of First Midwest Bankcorp (formerly Citizens National Bank) for 35 years before retirement and received numerous awards for community and banking industry accomplishments.

Held membership in the North Chicago Chamber of Commerce, Community Civic Organization, Community Reinvestment Council, and was a lifetime member of the NAACP.
