Mark S. Lahey of Jacksonville passed away on September 11, 2010; he was born July 1, 1950, and was the son of L. Bernard and Mary Tarzwell Lahey.

Served in the United States Army where he trained soldiers for operations in Vietnam.

Owned and operated Lahey Machine in Jacksonville for 34 years and worked as an engineer at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired for 7 years.

Member of the Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville and officer of the Jacksonville Moose Lodge.

Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his surviving wife Susan, sons Trevor and Brent, five grandchildren, mother, and sister Barbara Jackson.
