Deceased was born December 21, 1955, and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1974; worked as a commercial fisherwoman in Oregon and supervisor for rest area on Interstate 55 upon returning to Illinois in 2004

Served as election judge for the National Democratic Party and volunteered with homeless populations; was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 581 in Litchfield

Survived by son Matthew J. Pieper, daughter Jennifer L. Markulakis, sister Julie Hendrickson, and three grandchildren

Senate directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to the family as a symbol of sincere sympathy
