Illinois Senate mourns the death of Ronald "Pup" Dean Berg of Laura, who passed away on November 7, 2010.

Berg was born April 19, 1963, in Peoria and was the son of Donald E. and Sylvia Childress Berg.

Berg graduated from Wyoming High School and Black Hawk Junior College, and served 5 years as a military policeman in the United States Army.

Berg was a member of the Stark County Congregational Church and is survived by his three children (Levi, Lucas, and Kaylee), his mother, two sisters, and three nieces.

Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to Berg's family as an expression of sympathy.
