Theodore Ross Diaz, formerly of Alton, passed away on October 10, 2010, and the Illinois Senate expresses its mourning for his passing.

Born March 2, 1953, in Alton to Theodore Emilio Diaz and Delorice Armbruster Diaz; graduated from Southern Illinois University and Northern Illinois University College of Law.

Practiced law as an attorney in the Alton area for 28 years and worked as a nature photographer before moving to California.

Survived by three children (Nathaniel T. Diaz, Jonathan D. Diaz, and Anna Diaz Linenfelser), siblings, a grandson, and nieces and nephews.

Senate directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Theodore Diaz's family as a symbol of sincere sympathy.
