Michael J. Molloy Sr. passed away on November 11, 2010, and the Illinois Senate expresses mourning for his death.

Born December 31, 1938, in Alton; married Barbara Redd on November 4, 1961; graduated from Marquette High School in 1956.

Served in the United States Army Reserves and worked as a mold maker for Owens Illinois Glass Company until retiring in 1993, then owned and operated Mike's Broadway Wedge Tavern in Alton.

Member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 126, and the F.O.E. 254; survived by his wife, three children, two granddaughters, and extended family.

Senate directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Molloy family as an expression of sympathy.
