Paul B. Snider of Peoria died on November 19, 2010; he was born October 17, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, and married June Milner on June 8, 1946.

Served as a World War II veteran in the United States Army Signal Corps from 1942-1946, establishing and managing Army Radiophoto stations in England, France, and Germany.

Taught journalism and mass communications at Bradley University (1955-1985), serving as department chairman from 1956-1970, and as Fulbright Professor at Kabul University, Afghanistan in 1967; received Bradley's Putnam Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1976.

Worked as a journalist starting in 1936 for United Press International and later as a local media professional in Peoria, hosting and producing television programs including "Urban Issues" and "Media Man" critiques.

The Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his surviving wife, three children (David Snider, Myk Snider, and Kathie Downs), and two granddaughters.
