Commemorates the death of Denise Frances Ritschel of Peoria, who passed away on November 24, 2010, at age 91.

Recognizes her contributions to the arts in Peoria, including singing with the Tommy Dorsey Band, co-founding the Peoria Civic Opera, and serving with the Peoria Amateur Musical Club and Symphony Guild.

Acknowledges her civic engagement with the Historical Society, Lakeview, and the National Board of PBS, including work launching Sesame Street in the 1960s.

Directs the Illinois Senate to express sympathy and present a suitable copy of this resolution to her surviving family members.
