• Permits states to take disciplinary action against nurses' multistate privileges but reserves the authority to impose adverse actions on home state licenses exclusively to the home state.

• Effective January 1, 2012, with provisions scheduled for repeal on January 1, 2018; does not relieve employers of statutory obligations or supersede existing state labor laws.
