Amends the Illinois Human Rights Act to expand pregnancy accommodation protections for public employees beyond peace officers and firefighters.

Requires public employers to temporarily transfer pregnant female employees of correctional institutions or facilities to less strenuous or hazardous positions during pregnancy upon request with physician advice, where reasonably accommodated.

Applies the same pregnancy transfer protections to pregnant female peace officers and firefighters that were already established in the Act.

Defines "peace officer" and "fire fighter" according to Section 3 of the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act.
