• Eliminates exemption for armored car drivers to carry and possess weapons while performing their duties as armored car company employees.

• Eliminates exemption for armored car company guards to carry and possess weapons while performing employment duties or commuting between home and workplace.

• Leaves intact exemptions for other security personnel, including private security contractors, commercial/industrial security guards, and financial institution employees who meet training requirements.

• Effective immediately upon becoming law.
