Amends the Whistleblower Act (740 ILCS 174/5) to expand the definition of "employee" to include any person licensed by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation

Extends whistleblower protections to licensed professionals who were previously not explicitly covered under the Act

Maintains existing protections for full-time, part-time, and contractual employees, as well as licensed physicians at state-funded health care facilities
