IL HB1203

Amends aggravated criminal sexual assault laws to make delivery of a controlled substance to a victim without consent, by threat, or deception (for non-medical purposes) a Class X felony with a mandatory 10-year sentence enhancement.

Adds a new sentencing provision allowing courts to impose up to an additional 25 years imprisonment if a sexually transmitted disease was transmitted from the accused to the victim during the commission of the offense.

Classifies aggravated criminal sexual assault involving controlled substance delivery in the same category as other serious aggravating circumstances such as use of weapons or bodily harm.
