• Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act to permit Emergency Telephone System Fund moneys to be expended for costs of public safety agency personnel and equipment dispatched in response to emergency calls.

• Modifies the Illinois Municipal Code to allow municipalities to deposit hotel use tax and hotel operator's occupation tax collections into the general fund for any municipal purpose, instead of restricting use solely to tourism promotion.

• Requires municipalities receiving hotel tax revenue to report annually to the Advisory Committee of the Illinois Tourism Promotion Fund detailing how funds were expended.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
