IL HB2959

Repeals employee dependent tuition waiver provisions across eight Illinois state universities: University of Illinois, Southern Illinois University, Chicago State University, Eastern Illinois University, Governors State University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, and Western Illinois University.

Eliminates the 50% tuition waiver previously available to children of university employees with at least 7 years of aggregate employment at one or more state universities.

Effective immediately upon becoming law.
