IL HB3014

Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 to increase the protected distance around funeral and memorial service sites from 200 feet to 500 feet from any ingress or egress.

Prohibits loud singing, music, chanting, whistling, yelling, or noisemaking with or without amplification devices within 500 feet of a funeral site where audible and disturbing to attendees.

Prohibits displaying visual images conveying fighting words or threats against any person within 500 feet of a funeral site.

Prohibits knowingly obstructing, hindering, impeding, or blocking entry to or exit from a funeral site or facility containing it.

Establishes disorderly conduct at a funeral or memorial service as a Class C misdemeanor for first offense and Class 4 felony for second or subsequent violations.
