IL HB3110

Amends the Election Code (10 ILCS 5/9-10) to modify reporting requirements for large campaign contributions to political committees.

Changes the timeline for expedited electronic reporting of contributions of $1,000 or more from 30 days to 90 days before an election, requiring reports within 2 business days instead of 5 business days when contributions are received within this expanded window.

Applies the 2-business-day filing requirement only to political committees that support or oppose a candidate or public question on the ballot, or make expenditures exceeding $500 on behalf of or in opposition to candidates or public questions.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
