Prohibits persons, firms, corporations, and institutions from plowing or removing ice and snow from shopping centers, parking lots, commercial or institutional service areas, or driveways and depositing them on public highways or highway shoulders.

Exempts residential sidewalks from the prohibition on depositing ice and snow on public highways.

Removes the exemption for residential driveways that was previously included in the statute.

Violation of this prohibition is classified as a petty offense.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
