Persons adjudicated sexually dangerous must register for life, including after release or discharge from confinement.

Sexually violent persons and sexual predators must register for life after conviction or adjudication, or for life after parole/release if confined.

Persons not initially required to register for life who violate registration provisions must register for life after conviction for the violation.

All other sex offenders must register for 10 years after conviction or adjudication, or 10 years after parole/release if confined.

Registration period extends by 10 years for any sex offender who fails to comply with registration requirements, with notification to local law enforcement within 3 days of extension.
