IL HB4006

Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act to expand the definition of "person responsible for the child's welfare" to include custodians of children under 18 years of age.

Adds three specific offenses to the definition: involuntary servitude, involuntary sexual servitude of a minor, and trafficking in persons for forced labor or services as defined in Section 10-9 of the Criminal Code of 1961.

Custodians who commit or allow these trafficking and servitude offenses against children now fall under the mandatory reporting and investigation requirements of the child abuse and neglect law.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
