Amends Section 9-206 of the Code of Civil Procedure regarding termination of year-to-year farm leases.

Changes the notice requirement for terminating farm land tenancies from "not less than 4 months prior to the end of the year of letting" to "no later than August 1 of the then current calendar year."

Applies to farm leases on crop share, livestock share, cash rent, or other rental basis unless there is a written agreement to the contrary.

Maintains that notice to quit must be given in writing and cannot be waived through a verbal lease.
