• Lawn markers must extend at least 12 inches above turf and be removed by property owners the day following application; only property owners or their designees may remove markers.

• Applicators must provide customers with written information including product names, type of pesticide/fertilizer, reason for use, concentration range, label instructions, and applicator contact details.

• Neighbors requesting prior notification must receive written, telephonic, or electronic notice at least one day before application to adjacent properties.

• Golf courses must post conspicuous signs (minimum 8.5x11 inches) in pro shops, locker rooms, and first tees notifying visitors that plant protectants are periodically applied.

• Schools, day care centers, and park districts must maintain registries of parents/guardians and residents requesting notification and provide written or electronic notice at least 4 business days before pesticide applications, except in health emergencies.
