Requires services conducting criminal background screenings on all communicating members to disclose this fact clearly and conspicuously at sign-up, and to disclose whether members with criminal convictions are allowed to communicate with Illinois members.

Requires services conducting criminal background screenings to disclose that screenings are not foolproof, may give false sense of security, do not cover all convictions or arrests, and that criminals may circumvent search technology.

Declares it an unlawful practice under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act for internet dating services to fail to provide required notices or falsely indicate they have performed criminal background screenings.
