Amends the Assumed Business Name Act (805 ILCS 405/1) to reduce publication requirements for assumed business name certificates filed with county clerks.

Changes notice publication requirement from once a week for 3 consecutive weeks to a single publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the county.

Maintains the requirement that notice be published within 15 days after the certificate is filed and proof of publication be submitted to the County Clerk within 50 days.

Continues to require that without proof of publication, the certificate of registration for the assumed name is void.
