• Amends Section 3-101 of the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code (405 ILCS 5/3-101)

• Makes a technical change to language regarding State's Attorneys' representation of the State of Illinois in court proceedings under the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code

• State's Attorneys continue to represent the people of Illinois in mental health court proceedings in their respective counties, either in person or by assistant

• Allows community mental health providers and inpatient mental health facilities to be represented by counsel in court proceedings if they are providing services or seeking court orders to provide services to respondents
