Amends Section 13 of the Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5/13) to make a technical correction in regulatory language regarding water pollution standards and permitting procedures.

Changes "The" to "The" in subsection (a) to correct a duplicate word that appeared in the original statute text.

Maintains all existing regulatory authorities of the Board to adopt standards for water quality, effluent discharge limits, permit issuance, pesticide and detergent use, and equipment monitoring.

Preserves requirements for NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) program implementation and UIC (Underground Injection Control) program regulations to comply with federal standards under the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act.

Effective date: July 10, 2003 (based on previous enactment P.A. 93-170).
