Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act (430 ILCS 65/8.1) with a technical correction to Section 8.1.

Requires Circuit Clerks to notify the Department of State Police of all final dispositions of cases involving information reported under Section 2.1 of the Criminal Identification Act.

Mandates that courts direct circuit court clerks to immediately notify the Department of State Police and the FOID department when an individual is adjudicated as a mental defective, and requires forwarding a copy of the court order to the Department.
