Amends the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Licensing Code (225 ILCS 41/1-5) by making a technical grammatical change to Section 1-5.

Removes redundant capitalization of "The" at the beginning of the legislative intent statement regarding funeral directing and embalming practices.

Reaffirms that funeral directing and embalming practices in Illinois are declared to affect public health, safety, and welfare and are subject to state regulation.

Maintains that preparation and disposal of deceased human bodies must be conducted with appropriate observance, respect, and spiritual dignity according to public interest standards.

Section is scheduled for repeal on January 1, 2013.
