Removes the limit of 2 physician assistants per supervising physician and allows a supervising physician to determine the number of physician assistants under supervision, provided adequate supervision is maintained as outlined in the written supervision agreement.

Requires consideration of the nature of the physician's practice, complexity of the patient population, and experience of each supervised physician assistant when determining supervision capacity.

Eliminates the previous restriction on alternate supervising physicians supervising more than 2 physician assistants and replaces specific numerical limits with a flexibility-based supervision model.

Applies these changes to both the Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987 and the Medical Practice Act of 1987 to ensure consistent regulation across related statutes.
