Licensed optometrists must keep records of examinations and prescriptions, which may be retained either in the office where services were rendered or in a secure offsite storage facility.

All fines collected from Department of Professional and Financial Regulation disciplinary actions against optometrists shall be deposited into the Optometric Licensing and Disciplinary Board Fund.

Discounting of professional services in conjunction with the sale of goods or other services is added as a new ground for disciplinary action against optometrists.
