Amends the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act (430 ILCS 65/1) to make a technical correction in the legislative declaration section.

Removes redundant language by striking one instance of the word "that" in Section 1's opening statement.

Maintains the legislative intent to establish a system identifying persons unqualified to acquire or possess firearms, firearm ammunition, stun guns, and tasers in Illinois.

Preserves the purpose of creating Firearm Owner's Identification Cards to help law enforcement identify individuals prohibited from possessing firearms under Section 24-3.1 of the Criminal Code of 1961.
