IL HB5199

Amends the Regulatory Sunset Act by removing the Elevator Safety and Regulation Act from the January 1, 2013 repeal date.

Adds a new section establishing January 1, 2023 as the repeal date for the Elevator Safety and Regulation Act, extending the sunset period by 10 years.

Modifies 5 ILCS 80/4.23 and adds 5 ILCS 80/4.33 to effect the change in repeal dates.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
