• Clarifies that provisions in the School Code that are the same as prior statutes shall be construed as a continuation of those provisions, not as new enactments
• Specifies that references to prior Acts of the General Assembly or sections thereof that are continued in the School Code shall be held to refer to the provisions as continued in the current Code
