Amends Section 3-6-3 of the Unified Code of Corrections to make a technical change removing a duplicate word "shall" in provisions governing early release on good conduct.

Maintains existing rules for good conduct credit accumulation, including no credit for first-degree murder or terrorism offenses, reduced credits (4.5 days per month) for violent crimes and drug trafficking, and one day per day credit for most other offenses.

Preserves provisions allowing the Director to award up to 180 days additional good conduct credit for meritorious service, with restrictions on certain serious offenders, and requiring 60-day minimum service before eligibility.

Continues requirements for educational program incentives, including 60 additional days for GED completion and enhanced credits (1.25 to 1.50 multiplier) for substance abuse and correctional industry program participation.

Maintains notification requirements that the Department post inmate early release information on its website within 3 days of release and notify State's Attorneys at least 14 days in advance.
