IL HB5337

Amends the State Comptroller Act to require vouchers under $5 to be paid exclusively through electronic funds transfer.

Exempts vouchers presented by the legislative branch of state government from the electronic funds transfer requirement.

Maintains existing Comptroller authority to examine vouchers, verify available appropriations, and refuse warrant draws for non-compliant or unlawful transactions.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
