Amends Section 2-19 of the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 regarding preliminary orders for examinations of alleged abused or neglected children.

Makes a technical correction by removing a redundant instance of the word "the" in the statute.

Maintains requirement that courts shall order medical examination in cases involving physical abuse, and may order examination in cases of neglect or sexual abuse.

Preserves provisions requiring physicians to arrange color photographs of trauma areas and radiological examinations when indicated, with results forwarded to the State's Attorney.
