• Reduces fishing and hunting license fees to one-half the current rate for Illinois residents turning age 65 or older during the license year, effective April 1, 2013.

• Provides one-half fee hunting and fishing licenses for resident veterans of the United States Armed Forces after returning from service abroad or mobilization by the President, commencing with the 2012 license year.

• Applies senior and veteran discounts to individual fishing licenses ($14.50 base), hunting licenses to hunt all species ($12 base), and sportsmen's combination licenses ($25.50 base).

• Veterans must provide verification of service to one of the Department's 5 regional offices to qualify for reduced-fee licenses.
