Amends the Hospital Licensing Act to require hospitals to include the right to be represented by a personal attorney throughout the medical staff credentialing process as a minimum procedure for current medical staff members.

Applies to medical staff and clinical privilege determinations concerning existing members of the medical staff at hospitals licensed under the Act or organized under the University of Illinois Hospital Act.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
